埼玉大学を卒業後、東京都の公立小学校で約7年間教員として勤務。その後、2005年に渡米し、ハーリントンデザイン大学を卒業。2009年にインテリアデザイン事務所「キュービット」を設立し、さらに同大学院インテリアデザイン科を修了。在学中にはIIDA AWARDを受賞。
2015年にボストン建築大学院の建築学科修士課程に入学し、同時期にニューヨークのSBLM建築事務所およびシカゴのZWA建築事務所にて、レストラン、スターバックス、アミューズメント施設、病院などの商業施設のデザインに携わる。2016年にボストン建築大学院で修士号を取得後、「キュービット建築デザイン事務所」として再スタート。これまでにシカゴ近郊の日系企業オフィス、レストラン、サロン、住宅など、幅広いプロジェクトを手がける。米国建築士資格、インテリアデザイナーおよびLEED APグリーンビルディング BD+Cの資格を保有。
Tak is a licensed architect and interior designer in Illinois. He holds master’s degrees in both Architecture and Interior Design, and received an IIDA award during his time in graduate school. He previously worked with SBLM Architects in New York and ZWA in Chicago, specializing in commercial design projects including Starbucks, Dave & Buster’s, and various healthcare facilities. Since founding Cubit Design Studio in 2016, Tak has led a wide range of projects, including restaurants, commercial offices, hotels, and residential developments.
